"Join us for an evening classical piano solos that feature compositions by Wolfgang Mozart (1756 - 1797), Franz Schubert (1797 - 1828), Philip Glass (b. 1937), and Ned Rorem (b. 1923). Titled, 'Youth and Age,' the program will be performed by Stephen Porter. Porter has appeared as a soloist in London, Paris, Sarajevo, Lake Como, Istanbul and Rio de Janeiro, among other cities. His recent New York recitals at SubCulture, the Fabbri Mansion and Symphony Space have been praised by the press, with New York Arts calling 'Mr. Porters 24 Debussy Preludes 'a powerful revelation&as if the voice of the composer were speaking to us.'" - Nantucket Atheneum
