MY MOTHER'S BIRTHDAY
My mother (Betty as she was known) would have turned 93 today. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was so dedicated to her 5 children and husband. She attended all of our sporting events no matter how far they were away from our Bronx home. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed eating many different thing that I cooked for her and my father.
Tonight we will dine on butternut squash soup with steamed lobster dumplings, grilled swordfish with a warm olive vinaigrette, roast tenderloin of veal with wild mushrooms and finish with white chocolate mousse napoleons with fresh berries. She enjoyed bubbles, Rosé, Soave and Chianti. Love you Mom!!
Tuesday, April 30 from 6-8pm
