Un Traductor (Cuba/Canada - 2018)

Malin is an instructor of Russian literature at the University of Havana, but in 1989 he is reassigned to the childrens ward of a local hospital as a translator. The patients are seriously ill Russian children, victims of the Chernobyl disaster, and Malin becomes involved with the children on the ward. Historically, Cuban hospitals treated 20,000 patients through this program.
