Known to the world as the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Che Guevara grew up the son of a wealthy family in Buenos Aires, with plans to become a doctor. In 1952, before completing his degree, he embarked on a seven-month journey with his friend, Alberto, through South America. Traveling by motorcycle, raft, hitchhiking and on foot, the two young men covered 7,500 miles and discovered a very different world from their own.
