Description:
For the third year, local musicians playing blues, pop, jazz, oldies, folk, country, Irish jigs and more will perform on the porches of downtown homes and businesses for the Sandwich Arts Alliances Porch Fest. Following individual sessions, the musicians will come together for the Last Porch open-mic style finale. The stroll idea was led by musician Kim Moberg, who had been part of a similar event in Wellfleet, and fellow alliance member June Bowser-Barrett.
Participants are invited to bring folding chairs if they would like to sit and listen.
When and where: 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday (rain date Monday) around downtown Sandwich, with finale from 5 to 6 p.m. at Sandwich Public Library, 142 Main St.
