Outermost Contra is happy to welcome back Providence-born-and-raised Rich Sbardella. Rich has been calling contra dances in New England for more than 25 years. He will lead us through contras, squares, mixers and fun family dances. Local favorite dance fiddler, Amy Larkin, and husband Jonathan will provide lively music for fun dancing. Contra dancing is the older cousin to the square dance. No fancy footwork needed if you can walk, you can dance! All the dances are taught and called. If youre new to contra dance, be sure to get in on the early dances for the basic moves. And dont miss out on our welcoming and delicious potluck at 6.
