Description:
This event is presented by the Lower Cape Outer Council, as a benefit for commercial fishing families in need on the Lower Cape.
In a special one-night-only performance, Larry Marsland brings his one-person show "Night Falls On Emerald City" to the stage at Prez Hall.
Synopsis: In June of 1968, Judy Garland was booked to appear for two nights at the Back Bay Theater in Boston. These were the last two nights of the Back Bay's existence, as it was to be demolished after Miss Garland's concerts. The playwright, the a college student, ushered the first night of the concert. Garland appeared at 10pm. The next night, she didn't show up at all. This play is an inventive, entertaining imagining of what might have occurred between the 1st and 2nd nights.
