The Family Pantry of Cape Cod will be hosting their 26th annual Soup Bowls for Hunger event tonight, inviting local residents to sit down for a meal and contribute to a worthy cause.
At the event, diners receive meals in specially-made, unique bowls which participants then take home as a reminder of Cape Cods hungry.
This year many of the bowls will be contributed by art students from Monomoy and Nauset high schools.
The fundraiser will take place on Wednesday, April 11th, at Cape Tech in Harwich. Three seatings at 5:30, 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. will serve soup provided by the techs culinary arts department.
Ticket sales benefit the Family Pantry of Cape Cod.
The annual event consistently sells out so remember to get you tickets soon. Tickets for the event cost $18 each and can be purchased at thefamilypantry.com.
