CHAMP Homes to Offer Signed Celebrity Pictures and Wii want to save the Polar Bears Themed Tree at Spectacle of Trees Event in Hyannis from December 3rd through 5th

CHAMP Homes, a program of Housing For All Corporation, will feature a special tree, offering pictures with signatures from several celebrities for the winner of the “Wii want to save the Polar Bears” themed tree during the annual Spectacle of Trees event from December 3rd to 5th at the Kennedy Museum in Hyannis. All proceeds from bids on the tree will go to CHAMP Homes.

The “Wii want to save the Polar Bears” themed tree winner will receive a fully decorated 6 ½ foot Christmas tree, a Nintendo Wii system, Mario brothers Wii, gift cards and jewelry. And if you have always wanted to get a picture of Jim Carrey, Eddie House, John Travolta, Rob Schneider, Dr. Phil, Selma Hyack, Robin William, Toby Keith, Howie Mandel, Jeff Foxworthy, Steve Catrell, or George Lopez, this year’s Spectacle of Trees event might be your chance. Tickets for a chance at the “Wii Tree” can be purchased at CHAMP Homes at 82 School Street, Hyannis during regular business hours Monday through Friday.

The event will be held at the Kennedy Museum, 397 Main Street in Hyannis. Public viewing and bidding on the Trees will happen Thursday, December 3, 2009 from 5 PM to 8 PM, Friday, December 4 from 10 AM to 8 PM, and Saturday, December 5 from 10 AM to 7:30 PM.

Each tree will be awarded to a lucky winner. Each winner will be determined using Cape Cod Charitable FunRaisers “Bust the Box” auction concept. Every tree has an accompanying box to collect donations or “Tree Bucks.” Tree Bucks can be purchased for $10 each at the museum’s ticket window, or on the museum floor. Charitable donations will result from all of the Tree Bucks collected in each of the tree’s boxes. If you see a tree you like a little, invest a little. If you see a tree you like a lot, then Bust the Box with Tree Buck donations. Tree winners will be drawn on Dec. 5th at 7:45 PM and trees can be picked up on Sunday, Dec. 6th from Noon to 4 PM.

CHAMP Homes’ Associate Director Mary Hebert says: “Our CHAMP Family has put a lot of love into this Tree. We hope that it truly makes someone’s holiday!”
