The Catholic Cancer Support Group at Our Lady of Victory is organizing its first meeting at 7 pm, September 8th, 2009 at Our Lady of Victory Parish Center in Centerville. The Support Group is faith based but all are welcome: cancer patients, survivors, family and friends. Each meeting will consist of a Mass, anointing of the sick, a speaker and social hour. Meetings will take place at the Parish Center of Our Lady of Victory at 230 South Main Street, Centerville on every second Tuesday of the month. The Catholic Cancer Support Group at Our Lady of Victory is led by Joseph Gill and is supported by committee members: Fr. Mark Hession, Msgr. John Moore, Dr. William Connolly, Rita Ailinger, Cathy Carpenter, Sue Downing, Mary Lees, Edward Marshall, Mary Ellen Powers, Patricia Stone and Lois Wrightson.
