Description:
On December 13 and 14, the Osterville Historical Museum will host its 5th Annual Festival of Trees--a silent auction of spectacular holiday trees decorated by local merchants and organizations to benefit the Osterville Historical Museum. Held during the Osterville Village Stroll, the weekend festivities are free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
A magical display of over 20 tabletop trees decorated for the holidays will be located throughout the Museum's historic 1820s Captain Jonathan Parker House.
Bidding on the trees will be open until the silent auction ends Saturday, December 14th at 3 p.m. Absentee bids are accepted. Proceeds go to support the Osterville Historical Museum--the home of the Crosby Boats.
This year's festival is sponsored by Bank of Cape Cod, Leonard Insurance, and Oyster Harbors Marine.
The museum offers plenty of free parking for visitors to enjoy the Festival of Trees and events throughout the village as part of the Osterville Village Stroll.
