The Chatham Orpheum Theater is presenting a holiday classic, The Marinsky Theaters The Nutcracker in 3D (and 2D) at 10 a.m. on Dec. 14, 21 and 28. Theater supporters say Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker is something that everyone should experience at least once and it is not often that a performance of this caliber comes to nearby theaters. The Marinsky Ballets (formally known as the Kirov) performance was captured live at the Marinsky Theater in St. Petersburg in 3D. The Marinsky Theaters production is visually stunning and features world-class performances and can be seen at the non-profit theater that has recently been restored with the most technologically advanced, state of the art equipment available.
