Join Cape Cod Tango every Thursday to meet, mingle, and dance! The Cape's only regular milonga/practica is here! Join Cape Cod tangueras and tangueros to meet, mingle, and dance. No partner needed. With generous help from the Marstons Mills Public Library, we offer a FREE Practica from 7-9pm at Liberty Hall most Thursdays. 7-8 will be the practica, then from 8-9 we will have a very beginner-friendly milonga. Donations are accepted.
Every "Third Thursday" we host a milonga either at Liberty Hall or at another Cape-area venue. This is a dress-up event! If you're looking for a milonga on the Cape, this is it! Please email us for specific locations!
Most days we will also offer a short "What is Tango Anyway?" introduction class from 7:00 to 7:30 for people who are curious about this beautiful, traditional form of dance but who have never tried it before. It's perfect for beginners or ballroom dancers who've never tried the Buenos Aires style of dancing.
You do not need to come with a partner, no special shoes are needed, no reservations are requred.
