    American Business Womens Association Features Maryann Murphy at its November 10th Meeting at Hyannis Radisson The Cape Cod Chapter of the American Business Womens Association (ABWA) will organize its monthly Meeting on November 10th, 2009 at the Radisson Hotel Hyannis, Garden Room, Iyannough Road (Route 28), Hyannis. Networking will start at 5:30 pm with a buffet dinner at 6:15 pm. Featured Speaker will be Maryann Murphy, MSW, who will share practical tips on finding more time in your day and more space in your home or office. With a bachelors degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Social Work, and a specialty in behavior management, Maryann Murphy has spent over 20 years working in the Human Services field, helping people change their behaviors and develop new skills. She has held management positions in both business and government settings. Maryann ran the 2000 federal Census on Cape Cod and the Islands, setting up and managing an office with over 2,000 employees. Today, she works as a Professional Organizer, Public Speaker and Time Management Consultant, helping people manage their time and spaces more effectively. She is President of the Upper Cape Toastmasters Club, and winner of the 2008 Division F Public Speaking Contest for Southeastern Massachusetts. She is an instructor at the Tri-County Vocational Technical Schools Adult Education Program. Dina Lyons of Dina Lyons Designs will be featured as the monthly Member Spotlight.
