Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 9th Annual Turkey Trot. Fun run or walk over 3.1 miles of winding and rolling paved roads. Breathtaking scenery. Coordinated by the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House (Chatham) and The Chatham Walkers. Benefits Lower Cape Outreach Council.
Register 7-8 AM, behind Orpheum Theater in Chatham, corner of Main Street and Stage Harbor Road. Adults: $15 + bag of non-perishable groceries; Youngsters 5-16: $5; Under 5: free with one grocery item. Free T-shirts while they last. Raffle as well as home-made pie sale.
