Seek out migrating sea ducks and seabirds in Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown with ornithologist David Clapp. Birders of all levels are welcome. We will meet at the sanctuary and travel together in the Mass Audubon van.

David Clapp is an ornithologist and general naturalist with training in biology and science education. He has a strong interest in habitat conservation as well as land preservation and management. Having just retired from Mass Audubon as director of the South Shore Sanctuaries, David now is a consultant on a wide variety of research projects. David enjoys sharing his awe and understanding of the natural world and continues to lead trips for Mass Audubon (and the Smithsonian) throughout North America, the tropics of Central and South America, East and Southern Africa, and the Indian subcontinent.

Instructions and Directions:

Pre-registration required. Please arrive 10 minutes before the program begins. Transportation from the sanctuary is provided. Bring your binoculars! Please note our cancellation policy: In order to receive a refund, you must notify us of your cancellation at least 7 days before the program begins. If we cancel the program, you will receive a full refund. We reserve the right to change programs, schedules, and instructors, and to cancel programs due to low enrollment or unfavorable weather.
