Saturday, November 9th STORIES WE TELL by Sarah Polley, Feature Documentary, 2012, 108 minutes.
In Sarah Polleys documentary, STORIES WE TELL, the director/actress explores a family secret. A few years earlier, she had discovered that her biological father was not actually the person she knew as her father. So, in an effort to fully understand this long-held family secret, Polley interviews every member of her family, and asks the man she thought of as her dad to write and record his version of events. Polley, as the filmmaker, directs him as he reads his his story. Starring, Michael Polley, Harry Gulkin, Susy Buchan, John Buchan, Mark Polley and Joanna Polley.
