The program will feature a new symphony by contemporary composer Robert Smith, The "Odyssey," noted for its imaginative percussion and wind effects as it tells the stories recounted in Homer's epic poem. Additional selections will include music from Aida and La Traviata by Guiseppe Verdi, Entrance March from the Gypsy Baron by Johann Strauss Jr, Chopins Minute Waltz and Mozarts Sleigh Ride. Also on the program is a medley of popular show tunes, Salute to Broadway.
