Always in Season gives you inviting, approachable, delicious recipes you can prepare the same day you come home from the farmer's market with a bag full of local produce, or find your CSA box full of unfamiliar vegetables. Elise Richer takes you through each month of the year, highlighting a few select ingredients each month. Entrees, side dishes, soups, and baked goods are all featured, showcasing traditional and contemporary ways of using what is available locally, along with recipes from far-flung locations that put those same local ingredients to use in creative new ways.
