Description:
Alzheimer's Services of Cape Cod will be offering Memory Screenings for Brewster seniors. The screening, by appointment only, will entail a brief cognitive test for people who do not have a prior diagnosis of dementia. The goal is to identify people with potential problems who may need more extensive evaluation. In this way, the screening could possibly lead to an earlier diagnosis of dementia and will give a baseline for future comparisons. Secondary goals include education and reassurance of adults with mild, age-associated changes in their memory who may worry that they have dementai.
