Sea ducks and freshwater ducks are some of the most beautiful and intriguing visitors to the Massachusetts coast during the month of November.

Explore areas of the Cape with expert Mass Audubon naturalists Ian Ives and Chris Walz to view Eiders, Scoters, Buffleheads, Common Goldeneyes, and Red-Breasted Mergansers as they pause in their migratory journeys.

The program will also focus on freshwater pond habitats as well where participants can spot Northern Pintails, Northern Shovelers, Blue Winged Teals, Green Winged Teals, Eurasian Wigeons, and American Wigeons. This is a great opportunity to learn how these birds live, feed and migrate.
