Description:
On November 6th, Massachusetts voters will be asked to vote on a so-called "Death With Dignity" ballot question that seeks to legalize doctor-prescribed suicide for certain patients. Patricia Stewart, an attorney with the Educational Alliance on Doctor Prescribed Suicide will be here to provide an overview of this ballot question, highlighting and explaining how provisions of the proposed law will affect the elderly. We are also hoping to have someone from Dignity 2012 - The Campaign for Death with Dignity here to present their views.
Call 508-896-2737 today to reserve your seat for this very, very important discussion. Don't miss the opportunity to gain the information you need to make an educated vote at the polls in November.
Please note the following: 1.) The views presented by either speaker do not in any way represent the views of the Brewster Council on Aging or the Town of Brewster. This is merely an informational presentation. 2.) **Note the later time for this program was planned with the hope of accommodating those who might still be working, younger voters and families of our seniors who might find this topic of interest.
