Jim Coogan, noted authority on Cape Cod history from the earliest days to the modern era, will tell a number of interesting and over-looked tales in this talk  bits and pieces of history and strange and unusual Cape folklore based on his 30 years of researching and writing on the subject.

Mr. Coogan is the author of eight books about Cape Cod, including three for children. His Sail Away Ladies: Stories of Cape Cod Women in the Age of Sail won the 2004 U.S. Maritime Literature Award. A popular speaker on the subject of Cape Cod history, Jim is also a regular columnist for the Cape Cod Times daily newspaper.
