    FALMOUTH, MA Falmouth Genealogical Society will host a virtual presentation on 10 Ways to Jumpstart Your Genealogy, which can be viewed live in the Hermann Foundation Room of the Falmouth Public Library on October 14, 2017, at 10:00 AM. The speaker, Thomas MacEntee of High Definition Genealogy, will broadcast remotely and show attendees how to energize their genealogy research and hit the ground running. Whether stuck in a rut with genealogy research for the past year or just wanting to expand the ways in which family history can be pursued, MacEntees ten touchstones are sure to bring results. Covering every aspect of genealogy, and even those you never considered, your research will not just jump, itll leap! The meeting is open to the public and all are invited to attend. Established in 1985, Falmouth Genealogical Society is a nonprofit organization of beginner, amateur, and professional genealogists dedicated to studying, preserving and sharing family histories. Volunteers are located in the Lemcke Reference Room of Falmouth Public Library each Tuesday from 2:004:00 PM. Boy scouts interested in earning the genealogy merit badge are invited to attend these drop-in sessions for help, direction, and access to the Ancestry.com website.
