Furthermore, no one even wants to admit there's a murderer amongst them! Be the next Sherlock Holmes and help the sheriff solve this mysterious case. Meet and interview the characters, investigate the scenes and gather clues as you retrace the victims' steps the morning of his death. But be prepared, the drama and intrigue unravel as you learn about the many tales and torrid secrets of Sandwich and some of its residents.
Mystery buffs and shoppers alike can spend a wonderful fall afternoon traveling along 6A in East Sandwich for the first annual Secrets of Sandwich Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt. Beginning at Sandy Neck Beach, participants gather their first clues about a murdered lobsterman. From there, clue gatherers investigate The Bee-Hive Tavern, Gallery Gourmet, Salty Lous Lobster and Sandwich Agway {all in East Sandwich} for additional clues that help solve the murder. Participants can keep the clues and any keepsakes they gather along the way as they learn some of the best-kept secrets of Sandwich. And everyone is encouraged to use their cell phone, GPS or digital camera to help the sheriff. As participants move from business to business, theyll receive special discounts and promotions to help with Halloween shopping or with holiday gift giving specials that are only for the crime-solvers. At the conclusion of the afternoon, The Bee-Hive Tavern will be offering a special Tapas style tasting that is only $14.99+ tax & gratuity. A "best sleuth" prize will be awarded.
