Informational meeting about CCDART (Cape Cod Disaster Animal Response Team) a local, non profit volunteer organization that seeks to educate and train the public about how to prepare your animals for an impending weather disaster. We also train volunteers to staff the animal shelters that we have made available for the pets of people who seek relief at our local Red Cross shelters. The animal shelters coexist alongside the people shelters. We currently staff shelters in Dennis and Sandwich but are looking to train more volunteers so that we can have animal disaster shelters running alongside the Red Cross Shelters in Mashpee, Falmouth, Nauset and Barnstable. We train volunteers who have an interest to be able to respond nationally to animal disaters. Meeting @ West Barnstable Fire Department 7pm - wednesday oct 13th
