Description:
16 College reps will review student portfolios on Saturday, October 16, 11:30 am 2:30 pm. Open to individuals seeking a professional critique of their artwork, is especially useful for high school or college students. There is no fee to participate in Portfolio Day. Each year, colleges from all over the country send representatives to review student artwork, evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of individual pieces included, and suggest ways to improve the overall portfolio. Each year, a number of students have their portfolios waived, bringing them one step closer to college admittance. Participating colleges this year at the event in Dennis include Massachusetts College of Art, Savannah College of Art and Design, School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Maine College of Art, Pratt Institute, and The Art Institute of Chicago.
