ART EXHIBITION OPENS OCTOBER 9, 2009 AT COTUIT CENTER FOR THE ARTS New Exhibit Features the Works of the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod
Cotuit Center for the Arts located at 4404 Falmouth Road, Rte. 28 in Cotuit is proud to present The Members Show 2009, a gallery exhibit & sale featuring works by the Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod. This 13 year old organization will present the best contemporary pastel artistsÂ’ still lifes, portraits, landscapes, and abstracts. An opening reception for the artists will be held on Saturday, October 10th from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm and will feature live music, pastelists, and refreshments! The reception is free and open to the public. The exhibit and sale is on view October 9th through November 7th. Gallery hours are Monday-Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm; Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
During this month-long show, five PPSCC member artists with different styles and techniques will offer three "FRESH PAINT Sessions" in pastel on the grounds or in the gallery of Cotuit Center for the Arts.
