    Henry Beston's Cape Cod EASTHAM HISTORICAL SOCIETY'S 1869 SCHOOLHOUSE MUSEUM, 25 Schoolhouse Road (across from the Cape Cod National Seashore's Salt Pond Visitors Don Wilding presents a lecture and rough cut screening of documentary film footage. "Learn the story behind Beston's literary classic, The Outermost House. It's a local story for New Englanders about how the Cape Cod National Seashore came into being, and one of global significance, where a volunteer ambulance driver returned and healed from the horrors of World War I." Part of the "Outermost House at the Schoolhouse" exhibit, co-curated by Don Wilding and a collaborative effort of the Eastham Historical Society and the Henry Beston Society
