    The Orleans Chamber of Commerce presents the Nauset Surf n Music Festival, a three day event in Orleans featuring our inaugural Surf Film Festival and the 2nd annual ClamBQ, an authentic Cape Cod community clambake and barbeque with an exciting live music program from Thursday September 26 to Saturday September 28.

The inaugural Surf Film Festival at the Old Jailhouse Tavern celebrates the upcoming 50th Anniversary of The Endless Summer with Dana Brown in attendance, the son of filmmaker and narrator Bruce Brown. The line up also includes Here and Now, the 2012 Best Feature Film at the London Surf Film Festival, and RAW, the 2012 Best Cinematography award winner at the New York Surf Film Festival. Local Orleans bars and restaurants will showcase a continuous feed of surf video from 4:30pm-6:30pm daily. The Endless Summer will be screened on Friday, September 27th at 8:00pm, followed by a Surfers Dance featuring Berklee School of Music award-winning songwriter Steph Sloan and the Elephant Parade.

On the 28th, the Chamber hosts the ClamBQ, a live music festival with an authentic Cape Cod clambake pit and beer and wine garden. Performing bands are Crabgrass, The Cordobas, Link Montana and the Rough Riders, Sara Swain and the OBoys, Tom Fettig and Friends and The Chandler Travis Philharmonic. Local restaurants including The Yardarm, Hole-In-One, The Local Scoop, Dr. Frank-N-Swine and the Ice Cream Café will be at the ClamBQ Food Court. The ClamBQ takes place at Odd Fellows Hall in Orleans, also the finish line of the Ed Gill Memorial 5k Road Race which will end around 11a.m.

Plein air painters will create captivating scenes of our shores and town throughout the festival and an art exhibition will be held at Addison Art Gallery. Paul Schulenburg, internationally renowned artist and painter of View from the Dunes that is featured on the Nauset Surf n Music Festival poster will be at Addison Art Gallery for an opportunity to meet festival attendees on Saturday, September 28th.
