    CHAMP Homes is organizing the sixth annual Marstons Mills Four Miler, which will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 9:00 am. The start and finish lines will be on Main Street in Marstons Mills. Proceeds of the event will benefit CHAMP Homes, Places of Hope, Built on Faith, providing affordable, supportive housing.
There is a $15 registration fee and no fee for high school cross-country runners. Race day registration will be from 8:00-8:45 am at Marstons Mills Community Church. Parking for the run will be available at Marstons Mills Elementary School on Route 28 and Main Street. This years run will feature a new flat, measured and marked track and a new walk of 1.75 mile per lap. Timing will be provided by the Falmouth Track Club.
Awards will be given to runners only in the following categories:
The Fastest Male and Female Age Graded Male and Female Champions Clydesdale (200+ pounds) and Athena (150+ pounds) Champions Medals and ribbons will also be distributed for first place male and female divisional winners
Shirts will be provided to the first 100 people who pre-register by August 29, 2009. Race result postings will be available at coolrunning.com, capecodathleticclub.org, marstonsmills.org, and marstonsmillscommunitychurch.org. Sponsors for the event are Macombers Sanitary Refuse Co., Hanlon Shoes, Hyannis Foreign Auto Repair and Cape Care Coalition.
