To celebrate the recent publication of Nature's Ambassador: The Legacy of Thornton W. Burgess, the Thornton W. Burgess Society is pleased to invite its members and the general public to a Reception and Book Signing at Green Briar Nature Center on Sunday, September 29, from 1-3. Author Christie Lowrance will introduce a number of people who contributed to the book which took four and a half years to write. Special guests will include Betty Anderson, founder of the Manomet Bird Observatory; Chuck Roth, former MA Audubon Education Director; and Ralph Lutts, educator and author of The Nature Fakers.
