John Dowd: "From Every Angle", Opening Reception of John Dowd art exhibit, Cape Cod Museum of Art, 60 Hope Lane, Dennis, 5:30-7:00pm
Since he has a degree in architecture, perhaps it's not surprising that Provincetown artist John Dowd is best-known for landscapes featuring structural elements. But the depth of moods he achieves is something quite exceptional. This exhibition runs from Sept. 26 through Oct. 27. Guest curator Stephen Borkowski, Chair of the Provincetown Art Commission, has selected some two dozen paintings representative of Dowd's production over the years.
