    Sandwich Womens Club Welcomes Best-Selling Author Lisa Genova

The Sandwich Womens Club is excited to announce that author Lisa Genova will speak at its September Program meeting regarding Autism and, her award winning book, Love Anthony. Come and hear Lisa debunk the myths and speak about the misconceptions of autism.

The meeting will be held on Monday, September 16 at 7:00 PM at the Riverview School Auditorium, Rte 6A in East Sandwich.

This event is open to the public and free of charge, though donations will be appreciated. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Autism Awareness and Education in Sandwich.

Interested community members and prospective Sandwich Womens Club Members are encouraged to attend and bring friends and family. About Lisa Genova: Lisa Genova graduated valedictorian, summa cum laude from Bates College with a degree in Biopsychology and has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Harvard University. She is the author of the New York Times Bestselling novels Still Alice, Left Neglected and Love Anthony. About the Sandwich Womens Club& The Sandwich Womens Club makes a difference in the community every day. From preparing meals for the elderly to assisting with the spring clean-up of their community outdoor space and many fundraisers held throughout the year, their members help support those in need in Sandwich and surrounding towns. Founded in 1970, the Sandwich Womens Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs  the largest international organization of volunteer women.
