    The Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands is pleased to announce that it is organizing its next luncheon with four roundtables on miscellaneous topics of interest to Executive Directors, Board Members and Development professionals. The luncheon will be held on September 25th, 2013 from 11:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hyannis Golf Course, Route 132, Hyannis. This luncheon is free to members of the Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands and non-members pay $35. Attendees will be able to rotate through roundtables during lunch, ensuring that they receive a lot of information in a very short period of time. Silent? Live? Finding the Winning Combo. Jean McCutcheon, Cape Cod Academy About the speakers Dave Chase is a nationally known prospect research consultant. He is the founder and CEO of Chase Solutions Inc., the Freelance Prospect Research Network, and the International Prospect Research Network. Dave is also a partner with Bethesda-based WealthEngine, providing wealth screening services to clients across the US. Dave has served as President of the Hyannis Youth & Community Center Foundation, a past treasurer of the New England Development Research Association, a former board member and vice president of communications/ corporate secretary of the New England Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, and has served as a member and officer of numerous boards, committees and commissions. Dave presents nationally on topics related to prospect research, data screening, and the use of technology for philanthropy. A native Cape Codder, Dave is very active in community affairs. In addition to annual fundraising, special events, and capital campaigns, Jean has been involved in school re-accreditation, Head of School search, strategic planning, marketing and research, and working closely with the board of trustees. Prior to Cape Cod Academy, Jean worked for Beaver Country Day School and the Boston Latin School. Jean is serving her third year as President of Philanthropy Partners of the Cape and Islands and serves on the Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod Committee. Jean lives in Cotuit with her husband and two sons. Beatrice M. Gremlich is a Development Officer with Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation. Prior to Cape Cod Healthcare, Bea worked for the Cape Cod Symphony and Conservatory of Music & Arts. She is currently a member of the board of directors of Community Visions, Inc., the Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox Committee and the Philanthropy Day on Cape Cod committee, most recently serving a two-year term as co-chair. Bea is a graduate of Boston College.
Kathy Zagzebski is Executive Director of the National Marine Life Center. Previously, she worked at The Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, California and the Georgia Coastal Management Program in Brunswick, Georgia. Additionally, Kathy has volunteered for a variety of marine mammal projects in North Carolina, Hawaii, Georgia, California, and Massachusetts. She graduated magna cum laude from Augustana College, and received her masters degree in coastal environmental management from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University. Kathy is a member of the Society of Marine Mammalogy, the American Cetacean Society, and the Massachusetts Marine Educators Association (where she also serves on the board). Kathy serves on the board of the Bourne Financial Development Corporation and on the advisory committees of the Environmental Technology Program at Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical High School and the Marine Science Program at Norfolk Agricultural High School.
