Household Hazardous Products Collection Days for Barnstable Residents
The Town of Barnstable will hold two Hazardous Waste Days this year. Generally these products are oil- or solvent based, contain heavy metals, or are caustic materials such as acids or drain cleaners. Most common are: pesticides, poisons, gasoline and other machine fluids, moth balls, drain cleaners, oil-based paints, marine paints, paint thinners, and photo and pool chemicals.
Collection of such materials will take place at the Transfer Station on the following Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 12:00 Noon: June 27, 2009 and September 26, 2009
