Description:
    10th Annual Wampanoag Day
at the Aptucxet Trading Post Museum
Hosted by The Bourne Historical Society
Saturday September 19 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

The event is an inclusive family affair, meant to showcase traditional Native American dress, food, crafts, games, in addition to song and dance.
The trading post was the first in New England and the first set up by the Pilgrims when they came to the new world. It served as a place where they could trade tools and other things for coveted Native American furs, and sell Virginia-grown tobacco to the Dutch.
