Description:
The New England Society for Abandoned Animals (NESAA) has announced that it currently has over 150 cats and kittens available for adoption. It is therefore waiving its adoption fees for adult cats over the age of 1 year old.

After meeting with an Adoption Counselor, an Adoption application with reference checks, vet check and lease checks will be required prior to adoption approval. Kitten adoption fees remain $150 per kitten. The waived adoption fee for adult cats over the age of 1 is in effect until October 1, 2012. To give a cat a Forever Home, call (508) 771-7800, e-mail deb@nesaa.org, mail NESAA, P.O. Box 1041, Osterville, MA 02655 or visit our website at www.nesaa.org. NESAAs shelter is located at: 89 South Main Street, UNIT A1, Centerville, (same street as Four Seas Ice Cream). Please call for an appointment to visit our shelter and we will accommodate your schedule. NESAA has found thousands of animals Forever Homes, since it began in 2006 with the help of the NESAA Admission & Recovery Center located at 89 South Main Street in Centerville, and the NESAA Satellite Adoption Center located inside Petsmart, Hyannis. A comprehensive Adoption Program is vital to NESAAs lifesaving work. NESAA is always implementing creative ways to increase adoptions and match the right animal with the right home! Potential adoptees are interviewed and an application is required prior to adoption, lease agreements are checked and references are called to assure that our rescued animals find a safe loving new Forever Home. Two of our most popular adoption programs are Foster to Adopt & Senior for Seniors Adoption Programs. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and treated for parasites prior to adoption. The New England Society for Abandoned Animals (NESAA) is a 501 (c) (3) no-kill organization. Our programs include hands on rescue; spay/neuter assistance, adoption programs, emergency medical treatment, volunteer programs and education. All our programs are geared toward being proactive and compassionate, not only to the animals but the people that call for help. In 2011, NESAA touched the lives of 1,368 animals in total. NESAA receives no federal, state or municipal funding; all our programs that rescue and serve abandoned animals rely on public donations, which are 100% tax-deductible. For more information, go to www.nesaa.org or call (508) 771 7800.
