Second Annual Red Cross Open Charity Golf Tournament

The American Red Cross, Cape Cod and Islands Chapter will organize its second annual Red Cross Open charity golf tournament on September 11, 2009 at The Club at Yarmouth Port on Kings Way in Yarmouth Port. The tournament will take place on the National Day of Service in honor of the First Responders and all those who volunteer and support the Red Cross. The Chapter is currently looking for foursomes, sponsors as well as raffle and auction items. For more information, call (508) 775-1540 ext. 21 or go to www.capecodandislandsredcross.org The schedule of the day is as follows: · Registration at 12:00 noon · Putting contest at 12:30 p.m. · Shot gun start at 1:00 pm · Cocktails & cash bar will be open at 4:30 pm · Dinner buffet at Ardeo at Kings Way and awards ceremony from 5:00 6:30 pm. Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Top three Teams, 50-50 Hole, Closest to the Pin, Hole in One, Putting. Thanks to the support of sponsors and donors of raffle and auction items all proceeds of this golf tournament will benefit the Chapters programs. Donations are tax-deductible within the extent of the law. Individual golfers and foursomes accepted. Foursomes can be arranged. Please wear non-metal spikes and enjoy the course. Shotgun start, shamble format (Select the best shot off the tee, move all balls to that spot, then play your own ball into the hole). Scoring is based on best score of the foursome. The entry fee includes greens fees, soft drinks and buffet dinner at Ardeo at Kings Way, right off the golf club. Individual golfers are $99 and foursome fees are $350. Fee includes carts.
