Description:
The Cape Cod Childrens Chorus is a dynamic new program at the Conservatory, directed by John Yankee of the Falmouth Chorale. Students with a passion for singing or even a burning curiosity! are invited to join this exciting new sequential program. Fostering the highest level of excellence in musicianship will be the primary goal of the program. At each level, children learn basic concepts of musical notation, melody, rhythm, harmony, along with healthy vocal techniques, including posture, breathing and tone production, diction and head voice. Placement interviews will be held by appointment on the following schedule: Wednesday, August 29 9:00 AM at the Conservatorys Falmouth campus Thursday, August 30 9:00 AM at the Conservatorys Barnstable campus Tuesday, September 4 4:00 PM at the Conservatorys Falmouth campus Wednesday, September 5 4:00 PM at the Conservatorys Barnstable campus To schedule an audition or to find out more, call 508.362.2772 or visit capecodconservatory.org.
