August 5, 6 & 7, 8:00 pm Elements Theatre Company presents The Doorway by Phyllis Tickle, at the Church of the Transfiguration, Rock Harbor, Orleans. Bridging the real and the fantastic, The Doorway takes place in the world of the artist's imagination. As Madeleine, a metalworker, struggles to complete her work in the church, her muse, an owl named Theodore, leads her to call upon the church itself and the stories depicted in the art there for inspiration.
