Artist's Reception for Sherry Rhyno, a representational painter who paints from life. There is simply no substitute for direct observation. Standing by a marsh in the hot sun, feeling the breeze on the reeds and the flow of a strong current is transforming. Making a statement on canvas from a direct experience is the best way to paint.
