    The Music Ministry of Our Lady of Lourdes is proud to present Roger Mansen in concert on the new Allen Organ Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 3:00 PM. Proceeds of this event go to the Building Fund. Following the concert, there will be refreshments in the parish Hall. Roger Mansen is a life-long church musician and music educator, and now serves as a New England regional representative for Allen Organs through G. Paul Music. For twenty-five years, Roger worked as a music educator in the secondary and collegiate levels, and is widely known for his work as a Choral Conductor and Director of Musical Theatre. In 1998 President William Clinton named Roger as a Presidential Scholar Teacher. Roger performs as a baritone soloist for Oratorio as well as with the Longwood Opera Company. While serving as the Director of Music/Organist for Christ Episcopal Church in Needham, MA for nearly twenty years, Roger founded the Christ Church Concert Series and the Longwood Opera Summer Concert Series. As an organ consultant and recitalist throughout the New England region, Roger has helped to encourage, educate, and excite parishioners and organists alike with quality digital and pipe organs. He is a member of the American Guild of Organists and the Association of Anglican Musicians. Roger holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the Boston Conservatory where he studied Choral Conducting with Mr. Alan Lannom and Dr. William Seymour, and Organ with Mr. Dowell McNeil and Dr. Philip Steinhaus at the Church of the Advent, Boston. Roger currently serves as the Director of Music/Organist at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Marlboro, MA.
