Apna-Sa - Sounds of Belonging is a thematic South Asian concert series presented under the banner of Sarang: Colors of South Asian Music, celebrating the cultural heritage of South Asian communities. Curated by Indian classical violinist Pranav Swaroop Bettagere, the event features collaborations among talented artists from the Greater Boston area, representing diverse South Asian traditions and influences. Building on last years success, which introduced South Asian music and dance to broader audiences, this year the focus turns inward. Apna-Sa - which means like my own aims to bring together South Asian communities to reconnect through sounds, stories, and traditions that feel deeply familiar, personal, and evoke a sense of home and shared cultural memory. This event is made possible with support from Falmouth Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council. FREE. No registration required.
