Presented by Town of Barnstable 4th of July Parade Committee Hyannis Main Street - This year's parade features bands and lots of music, including the Barnstable High School Marching Band, Dennis-Yarmouth High School Marching Band, Colum Cille Pipe and Drums, Mike Dumas and Platform Soul and more. The Greater Hyannis Civic Association is sponsoring a children's bicycle decorating contest on the Village Green prior to the kick-off of the parade. The children will join the parade at that part of Main Street and ride to South Street. Parade Grand Marshall Sidney Larry Chase, recently retired Veterans' Agent.

Parade marchers will gather on Old Colony Road, and follow Old Colony Road to Main Street, take a left on to Main Street; left onto Sea Street; left onto South Street and autos will end at the Town Hall parking lot where it will disband.

Parade Parking: Public Parking on North Street. Carpooling Suggested. Tow Zones Strictly Enforced.
