"The Sandwich Glass Museum is pleased to present this distinguished and multi-talented glass artist from Wakefield, Rhode Island. Eben Horton, master glassblower, who has created pieces for Stolichnaya and Goreham Crystal, will be the featured artist in the Contemporary Gallery from April 4 - July 29. Eben creates custom one of a kind pieces on an individual basis out of his studio that he calls "The Glass Station" - a converted 1920's gas station.

Prior to creating The Glass Station, Eben attended The School of American Crafts BFA program, Penland School of Crafts, an independent study in Murano, Italy and has taught at The Corning Museum of Glass. As of late, Eben's talents have been in demand in the architectural sector, creating large installations, custom lighting, and is highly specialized in historical reproductions of early American 17th century glassware. While many glass artists specialize in one style of glass, Eben refuses to define his work as a singular style and prides himself as a highly skilled technical craftsman."

This exhibit is free with admission of $6.00 for adults and $1.25 for children 6 - 14.

Summer hours: The museum is open April 1 - December 30 daily 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Winter hours: The Museum will be closed the month of January and will reopen in February. The hours in February and March will be Wednesday - Sunday 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Holidays: The Museum is closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.
