Description:
Come early to sign up for the open mic. The featured reader performs afterwards. The mic is open to poets 14 and older. Free and open to the public. Bring your own refreshments. Hosted by Barry Hellman and Joe Gouveia on the last Thursday of each month, January-October. Emily Manning and Isle Bastille are young poets who demonstrate an extraordinary amount of promise. They are repeat winners of the poetry slams held at the Cultural Center and elsewheretwo fine writers and performers who never disappoint. We hope youll join us.
