Description:
The FOURTEENTH Annual CAPE COD VIKING 200 CARDBOARD BOAT CHALLENGE
This event challenges local businesses, organizations, and individuals to build a boat entirely out of cardboard, duct tape, glue, caulking and paint, stick two people in it, and race around a 200 (give or take) yard course on the Bass River, for fabulous prizes, really cool trophies, and above all, bragging rights to the much coveted Viking Cup and Rubber Ducky Trophy.
For the benefit of Cape Cod Sail and Power Squadron, the largest recreational boating club on Cape Cod. Their primary activity is teaching Americas Boating Course® at various Cape locations to educate the public in boating safety. They also offer as a public service courtesy Vessel Safety Checks on any recreational boat.
Fun for the entire family.
