PROGRAM AND SCHEDULE The Suffolk University Cape Cod MPA Program is a 49-credit program (17-18 courses) consisting of a one-credit introductory course, eight core courses, seven electives, and one capstone course. Pre-career students are also required to complete an internship. You can obtain information on the concentrations and the MPA/Health Administration from the Cape Cod Office. Please note that completing a concentration or specialized MPA degree may require taking Boston courses.
COURSE SCHEDULE The Suffolk Cape Cod MPA Program is flexible, with various scheduling options to help you accelerate your degree. We offer traditional 15-week and 11-week evening courses, as well as 5-week courses on Saturdays in November-December and in March-April.
The MPA Program offers a variety of concentrations (community leadership and public engagement, disability studies, health care, nonprofit management, and state and local government). Concentrations require additional courses beyond the regular course curriculum. In addition, a Cape Cod MPA student may pursue joint degree programs (MPA/JD, MPA/CJ, and MPA/MS) by taking the appropriate courses in Boston.
