Harwich Junior Theatre will be offering four Special Fridays Theatre Workshops for Kids this summer at Cotuit Center for the Arts, 4404 Falmouth Road, Rte. 28 in Cotuit!
These three-hour exposure based workshops are a great introduction to the world of theatre! Mary Arnault of the Harwich Junior Theatre instructs classes which meet each Friday from 9:00 am to noon beginning July 17th - August 7th. All experience levels are welcome.
The fee for each workshop is $30; $27 for CCftA members with a discount available to siblings. A discount is also offered to students registering for multiple workshops. Advance registration is required as class size is limited. Enrollment forms may be downloaded online at www.CotuitCenterForTheArts.org or register by calling the arts center at 508-428-0669.

July 17th Creative Drama Ages 6-11
Explore the world of play through theatre games and exercises! Use your imagination in this fun filled workshop to create characters and scenes! Dress to move! Bring your imagination!
July 24th Fractured Fairy Tales Ages 6-11
What if Goldilocks met the Three Little Pigs? If Rapunzel lost her hair could Jacks Beanstalk help her escape from the tower? Brush up on your favorite Fairy Tales and come ready to bust them apart and create one of your own! Costumes and prop pieces will help pull the final story together.
July 31st Comedy Improvisation Ages 11-16
Enter the world of comedy using improvisation techniques, shtick, timing and comic characterization! Everything you do today will be funny. Come ready to laugh
and be laughed at!
August 7th Playwriting Ages 11-16
Learn how to find your inner play and use your imagination for writing! Youll be amazed what you can come up with in only 3 hours! Creative play is the name of the game!
